This Privacy Policy describes how SAKIPARU, LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our mobile application, SquatLockApp (the “App”).

Use of Screen Time API (FamilyControls & ManagedSettings)
The core “Detox Mode” feature of SquatLockApp uses Apple’s Screen Time API (specifically, the FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks).
Purpose: This feature is provided solely for your own self-management. It is not a parental control app and is not intended to monitor or control anyone else’s device.
How it Works:
FamilyControls API: We use the FamilyActivityPicker to allow you to select specific apps or categories on your own device that you wish to temporarily restrict.
ManagedSettings API: We use this framework to apply a “shield” (lock) to the apps you selected. When you successfully complete the required number of squats, we use this API to grant a temporary unlock for that specific app for a limited duration.
Our Privacy Commitment: The Screen Time API does not give us access to your personal app usage data, browsing history, or any other sensitive activity. We only receive opaque tokens representing the apps you explicitly select in the picker. All app-blocking logic occurs on your device.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
To improve the accuracy of our squat counter and the overall app experience, we request your consent to collect the following anonymized data:
a) Anonymized Profile & Squat Data (Optional) If you provide consent, we collect:
Profile Information: Your height, weight, birth year (for age), and sex. This data is used only to calibrate the squat detection algorithm for accuracy.
Anonymized Squat Statistics: Session data such as rep counts, rep intervals, velocity, and sensor readings from your device’s motion sensors (CoreMotion).
This data is associated only with an anonymous Firebase Application Instance ID and is not linked to your personal identity. It is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore) for the sole purpose of improving our algorithm.
b) Advertising (Google AdMob)
This app displays advertisements using Google AdMob. We do not track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising purposes. We do not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request tracking permission, and we only display non-personalized advertisements or context-based advertisements. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Google Firebase (Firestore, Analytics): For secure storage and analysis of anonymized squat session data.
Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems.
Children’s Privacy
This app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
